Apellidos divertidos / Funny surnames

Todos hemos leido alguna vez en alguna página, foro etc. alguna lista sobre nombres y/o apellidos curiosos, como aquí, o aquí. Y sí, te ríes, pero cuando tu eres el que tiene que llevarlo, te hace algo menos de gracia, y sé de que hablo porque me toca de primera mano.

Al final, digamos que te "acostumbras", o más bien lo sobrellevas, y aprendes a reírte antes de que lo hagan lo demás. Terminas siendo tu el que hace los chistes (porque ya has oído todos los que podían hacerse) malos, las rimas o las bromas típicas, y es que sino, muchos de nosotros terminaríamos queriendo pegarnos un tiro.

Hay quien te dice "Pues cámbiate el orden", pero tampoco terminas de deshacerte de él, y el papeleo y la cantidad de vueltas que tienes que dar hacen que se te pasen las ganas (terminas antes acostumbrándote).

No hablemos cuando lo tienes que decir por teléfono (yo tengo mi cruz con la chica de la seguridad social, si ya tendría que conocerme la mujer) porque cuando lo leen se sorprenden, se ríen, pero lo asimilan. Cuando eres tú el que lo dice de boca, a veces te piden que lo repitas o que enseñes el DNI, se ríen, y lo asimilan. Por teléfono olvídate.

Claro que también tiene su parte "buena". Rara vez se olvidan de ti. Tus recién conocidas amistades pueden enviar tus mails a la carpeta de "spam", pueden cambiarte el nombre y figurar como otra persona en las listas del censo, elecciones del consejo universitario, tener un nombre que no es el mismo que el del DNI en tarjetas de supermercado, perfumerías... pero una vez esta claro como es, como se escribe y que esa eres tú, no te olvidan tan fácilmente.

Everybody has read any time in a page or forum a list of funny names/surnames. Yes, you laugh, but when you are the one who has it, it’s not so funny for you, and I know what I’m talking about cause I have to live it.
At the end, you get used to it, and you learn to laugh too before others do. You are the one who makes the bad jokes (cause you have already hear every possible one), if not, we would end killing ourselves.
Some people tell you to change the order of your surnames, but you still have it and if you see all the procedures you have to do you get used to it before finishing them.
Better not talk when you have to tell it by phone. When people read it, they are surprised, the laugh, but they assimilate it. When it is you who says, they sometimes ask you to repeat it or ask to show your identity card, they laugh, but they assimilate. But by phone… forget about it.
However, it has also its “positive” part. People usually remember you. Your new friends can send your emails to spam, they can change your name and appear as another person in the list of the census, have on your supermarket’s/ perfumery’s card another name that it is not the one of your identity card… but once it is clear how it is, how it is write and that you are that person, the don’t forget you so easily.
No, I’m not gonna tell you.
